After Lucy and Velvet came to Heaven Can Wait together. The family that owned them had quite a collection of animals that they no longer had the time for because the kids had moved out and the animals were spending many, many hours alone without human contact. All “free to good homes” had been together for most of their lives. In order to keep them from being separated from each other and scattered to many different new homes, Lucy and Velvet and 6 goats came to live at Heaven Can Wait.
