Velvet came to Heaven Can Wait in 2007 with her best friend Lucy who sadly passed in 2014. The family that owned them had quite a collection of animals that they no longer had the time for. The two of them had been together for most of their lives and in order to keep them from being separated from each other, they were brought to HCW.
